EU4 Energy Transition: Covenant of Mayors in the Western Balkans and Türkiye
The action tackles climate change and support to the energy transition in the Western Balkans Six and Türkiye through an increased uptake of the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy Initiative (CoM) in the region and support to municipal authorities to translate their ambitions to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions into reality and enhance resilience to climate change impacts, while taking into account diversity on the ground. Work is under way on the continuation of this project in the following years.
