Integrating Western Balkans Six in the work of European Environment Agency (EEA) and support to implementing the adapted Governance Regulation - Contribution Agreement with the EEA
There are two overall strategic objectives of this action: a) For the work that will be done on integrating Western Balkans Six in the work of EEA the strategic objective is to support the beneficiaries in the approximation process with a view to “technical readiness” for EEA membership. b) For the work on support to implementing the adapted Governance Regulation, the strategic objective is for the EEA to support the Western Balkans Six in fulfilling their responsibilities described in Article 42 of Decision 2021/14/MC-EnC, and thereby to contribute to the objectives of the governance mechanism listed in Article 1 of this document. Work is under way on the continuation of this project in the following years.
