Energy Transition and Decarbonisation in the Western Balkans
To support the Western Balkans Six, in particular Kosovo*, North Macedonia and Serbia, in accelerating their energy transition and decarbonisation. This includes building strong civil society networks in the region that can themselves - in close coordination with academia and the private sector - work together for domestic-level and regional reforms. Increase political power for reforms, such as the adoption of the NECP. The project works with three of the WB6 and opts for a intraregional strategy - it aims for a regional roadmap that defines clear action points that can and should be worked out together. Special attention should be given to the Regional Climate Partnership Western Balkans.
