Apart from North Macedonia and Serbia, the project is implemented in Germany, Estonia, and Lithuania.

This project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) through the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) project ideas competition, which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
