RenovAID – Buildings Renovation
RenovAID aims to improve building energy efficiency in Kosovo* and Albania by addressing policy gaps and promoting impactful measures. It focuses on developing energy efficiency policies, creating Energy Performance Certificate frameworks, and establishing one-stop shops for building renovations. The project prioritises tackling energy poverty, enabling support measures for vulnerable groups, and advancing the energy transition's environmental, social, economic, and energy security aspects.
This project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) through the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) project ideas competition, which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
