Young Energy Europe
Young Energy Europe trains specialists from various sectors across the world, including Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia, to become Energy Scouts who identify and implement energy efficiency projects within their companies. Through collaboration with local chambers of commerce and practical workshops, participants learn to analyze energy consumption, develop tailored efficiency solutions, and pitch their projects to expert juries. Award-winning projects often lead to significant energy savings, with both companies and participants benefiting from cost reductions and the professional growth gained through sustainable innovation.
This project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) through the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) project ideas competition, which is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
