Balkan Solar Roofs
The project targets city administrations in Kragujevac (Serbia), Poreč (Croatia), and Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) to promote participative urban solar energy. Municipal teams participate in e-collaboration labs to learn about urban solar community energy, identify key stakeholders, and develop local energy roadmaps to guide solar project implementation over two years. A communication workshop enhances outreach skills, while a campaign mobilises citizens and SMEs to produce community-owned energy through media and posters. The project also shares experiences with other cities and engages policymakers to support citizen energy through domestic-level frameworks.
