ADAPT 2.0: Nature-based Solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation in the Western Balkans
ADAPT 2.0 builds on the success of its predecessor to promote Nature-based Solutions (NbS) for climate resilience and sustainable development in the Western Balkans Six. The project enhances regional cooperation, scales up NbS pilot projects, integrates NbS into policies aligned with the Green Agenda, and develops strategic frameworks like the Western Balkans Forest Landscape Restoration Plan. Key actions include capacity-building workshops, public awareness campaigns, and establishing a Regional Fund to mobilise resources for long-term NbS implementation.
