Directive (EU) 2023/2661 amending Directive 2010/40/EU on Intelligent Transport Systems

EU directive of 22 November 2023 amending Directive 2010/40/EU on the framework for the deployment of Intelligent Transport Systems in road transport and for interfaces with other modes of transport. It establishes mandatory requirements for the digital availability of crucial data types and priority services through domestic-level access points to improve traffic efficiency and road safety. It also reinforces EU Member State cooperation and establishes a common European trust model for cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS).
