Serbia: Law on Seeds and Planting Material of Agricultural and Ornamental Plants

Serbia's Law on Seeds and Planting Material of Agricultural and Ornamental Plants was published in Official Gazette No. 91/25 of 23 October 2025. The law regulates production, quality control, packaging, labelling, marketing, and import of seeds and planting material for agricultural and ornamental plants, repealing three earlier laws in the area. It is harmonised with eleven EU directives on seed and planting material marketing, and enters into force on the eighth day after publication.
