North Macedonia: Domestic-level Development Strategy 2024-2044

North Macedonia's principal long-term strategic document, adopted by the Assembly on 29 October 2024 under the Law on the domestic-level Development Strategy and covering the period 2024 to 2044. It defines domestic development goals, strategic areas and priorities, and is aligned with North Macedonia's EU accession ambitions and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. It is structured around six strategic areas, one of which is green transformation, alongside a sustainable, innovative and competitive economy, local and regional development, demographic and social development, rule of law and good governance, and a secure and resilient society.
