Sustainable Forest Management in the Western Balkan Region: Assessment of Climate Change Adaptation Policies and Mitigation Measures, produced by the Regional Rural Development Standing Working Group in South East Europe (SWG RRD) in 2025, synthesises domestic-level reports on sustainable forest management from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia. It reviews climate change-related projects and strategic policy documents across the region's forest sector, identifies gaps in climate change adaptation and mitigation measures and concludes with recommendations for strengthening the integration of climate change into forestry policy.
