State of Nature in the Western Balkans - Biodiversity Conservation Report (WBBCR), Terms of Reference synthesises existing biodiversity data across the Western Balkans Six to identify gaps, key drivers of biodiversity loss, and nature–society interactions, covering species, habitats, protected areas, ecological networks, financing and capacity needs, alongside a Summary for Policymakers. Findings will feed into the Western Balkans 2030 Biodiversity Strategic Plan led by the Regional Cooperation Council. Deliverables run from an Inception Report to a Final Assessment Report due 30 January 2026, with a budget of EUR 24,000.
